She didn't hang out with people who would get into trouble, she avoided drugs and alcohol, porn, R rated movies, and anything else that could be considered 'bad'. She had managed all A's through out school, she graduated top of her class in physics at her university, and she was now working on various scientific studies at the lab downtown.
Today had been a normal day at the lab and a normal night at home. To sum it up in one word,

A natural altruist, and a sadist by choice and preference.

A man who revels in chaos, violence, and debauchery, but at the same time is compelled to aid and heal against his better senses and self interests.

A being for whom 'good' is a curse inflicted by his psyche and more often than not an unconscious reflex, a expression and manner enacted unbidden, and for whom 'evil' is a chief study and amusement- a delight indulged but not necessarily inherent.

Such a man would by his own be damned twice over, unable to wholly understand limitation or morality of those with a clear and fixed moral path in either spectrum, and voicing freely both on whim. If self aware, at the same time, he could voice some truly curious stories of mixed perception and offer duality as morality with honest belief. Such a man would be both quick to kindness and to bloodrage, to love and to jealousy, overbrimmed with emotion and insane from any sensible balanced perspective.

This man is our candidate for the Black Knight, a man of both Chivalry and its farthest foes. A man that sensibly should be impossible or improbable and usually exists without the realms of Sense. This being we seek and know.

I somehow managed to slack off on art and writing so much that I have nothing to show for this year. I've not done much at all, and what I did manage to scratch out I haven't posted. But I've started working on that already, so hopefully I'll have some new stuff in the new year.

Well, I probably won't have much writing to show. Other than a very, (very) brief stint at NaNo, I have done much writing at all. Ack! I knew there was something I was forgetting to do!

I actually read these at about the same time, but I didn't have as pithy a comment to leave on the other piece. I told myself I'd leave one when I wasn't as sleep-addled and could organize my thoughts better, but then I spent the whole day yesterday in bed! Short answer; No, it doesn't suck at all. I'll leave the longer comment on the piece itself.
